How Monkey found his Swing

How Monkey found his Swing

How Monkey found his Swing was first commissioned by the Dalcrose Society as an interactive children’s performance as part of the 2015 Manchester Jazz Festival. The show is a collaboration between Ursula and the Hilary Step Saxophone Quartet and is now managed by Jazz North. In 2016 it proved a hit at Birmingham Symphony Hall as part of the Musical Family Picnic Programme and also at the Just So Festival. It is energetic, boisterous and a perfect way to introduce youngsters to new sounds and unusual instruments, through movement, characterisation and lots and lots of laughter!

  • Age Range: Children 3 to 8 Years
  • Audience Capacity: 5 to 50 +
  • Duration: 50 Minutes
